GREEK BURGERS
- Makes: 8 burgers
- Ingredients:
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbs fresh mint, chopped
- 1½ c. non/lowfat yougurt
- 1½ lbs. ground turkey, lean
- 2¼ tsp. feta cheese, crumbled
- 6 pita bread loves, cut in half
- 1½ tomatoes, sliced
- 1½ red onions, sliced
- Directions:
- Combine garlic and mint in a small bowl and mash.
- Add yogurt, mix and set aside.
- Combine turkey and feta cheese in a mixing bowl.
- Broil 5-10 minutes per side or until turkey is cooked thorugh.
- Serve in pita bread with tomatoes, onions, and yogurt sauce.
