GARBANZO BEAN SALAD

  • Makes: 5 servings

  • Ingredients:
    • 16 oz. garbanzo beans (reduced-sodium)
    • 3 tomatos, chopped
    • ½ c. red onions, chopped
    • 3 green onions, sliced
    • ½ green pepper, chopped
    • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 8-12 drops hot sauce
    • 1 tsp black pepper

  • Directions:
    • Rinse garbanzo beans in a colander and put in a bowl.
    • Add the tomatos, red onions, green onions, and green peppers to bowl.
    • Mix vinegar, olive oil, hot sauce, and pepper. Pour over beans and other vegetables and mix.

  • Nutritional Information:
    • Serving Size - 1 cup
    • Calories - 155
    • Fat - 4 gr
    • Cholesterol - 12 mg
    • Protein - 6 gr
    • Fiber - 4 gr
    • Sodium - 260 mg
