TOMATO, ONION, AND HONEY VINAIGRETTE

  • Makes: 1¼ cups

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 8oz can plum tomatoes, drained, juices reserved
    • 2 tbsp tomato puree
    • 1¼ c. red onions, sliced
    • 1 tbsp honey
    • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
    • Salt and pepper
    • ½ tsp orange zest, grated

  • Directions:
    • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Allow to chill in refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

  • Nutritional Information:
    • Serving Size - 3 tbsp
    • Calories - 20
    • Fat - .5 gr
    • Cholesterol - 0 mg
    • Protein - 1 gr
